✅ You are responsible for all activity under your account

You may:

✅ Create and manage your family tree

✅ Share content with family members you invite

✅ Use our messaging and event features

✅ Store family photos, documents, and narratives

You may not:

❌ Share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights

❌ Impersonate others or create fake family connections

❌ Attempt to access other users' data without permission

❌ Use the platform for commercial purposes without authorization

❌ Interfere with platform security or functionality

Free Features: Basic family tree, limited storage

Paid Plans: Additional seats, storage, and premium features

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually

Cancellation: Cancel anytime; access continues until period ends

Refunds: Pro-rated refunds available within 14 days of purchase

🔒 You own your content. Photos, stories, and data you upload remain yours.

📤 You can export your data at any time from account settings.

🗑️ When you delete content, it is permanently removed from our systems.

📋 You grant us a limited license to display your content to family members you choose.

Kinet is provided "as is" without warranties. We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

By You: Delete your account anytime from settings

By Us: We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

Data After Termination: Personal data deleted within 30 days

We prefer to resolve disputes amicably. Please contact us at support@kinet.app before taking legal action.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days in advance.
